Was Arius a Muslim? The answer typically presented in various Islamic books—as well as in numerous social media posts—fails to engage directly with the primary historical source material (dating back to the fourth century). Therefore, this book endeavors to provide an answer derived specifically from texts attributed to Arius himself—cited in their original Greek—and from the statements of his fourth-century followers, while deliberately avoiding reliance on the accounts of his adversaries, lest we be accused of lending credence to their calumnies against him.
