Translated to Arabic, 'The Double', a novella by Russian writer and philosopher Fyodor Dostoevsky (1821-1881). First published in 1846, then revised and republished in 1866. It centers on a government clerk who keeps encountering someone who is his exact double in appearance but is extroverted and aggressive, the complete opposite personality. This drives the clerk insane.
