The author collected Maliki texts of the doctrine and Imams in the eras from Imam Malik to the author, Sheikh Khalil bin Ishaq al-Jundi. With the explanation of the scholar and jurist, Imam Abi Ali al-Hassan bin Rahal al-Madani (d.1140/1727).
