There are many translations of the Qur’an and many books about the Qur’an in bookstores; few, if any, sort the verses of the Qur’an by subject, making it easy to grasp the full range of Qur’anic thinking. The Divine Constitution is such a book, using a new translation which returns to the roots of the Arabic language and to the way it was spoken during the time of Muhammad.
